This week's events + discounted ordering is live
Hi Neighbors,
Big week! A few updates, starting with two events this week and then info on ordering traps!
Community Zoom, Wednesday April 22 at 7pm — We're sharing an overview of the Itty Bitty approach, which includes, but is not exclusive to, deploying traps. We will be joined by a couple special, knowledgeable guests! RSVP here → We’ll record and share for anyone who can’t make it. Whether or not you can join, please reply with your questions in advance and we’ll address them on the call!
Biogents Open House, Saturday April 25 — The Biogents team will be out in the streets of Capitol Hill during the Ward 6 Spring Clean in the morning, and then hold a drop-in Q&A session at the Northeast Library in the afternoon. No registration needed. Full details for events at ittybittymosquitocommittee.org/calendar.
Trap ordering is live!!! You can now order with our exclusive community discount here. A few important notes below.
1. Once you're on the page, use “Shop Mosquito Traps” in the body — not the header, which goes to the regular retail shop. Prices you should see: GAT 2-Trap Set $50, GAT Neighborhood Pack $250, Mosquitaire Bundle $150, Double Mosquitaire Bundle $250.
2. You may see a discount code prompt — these will not work with our exclusive discounts.
3. This is Biogents' first community partnership effort and they're eager for feedback on how they can improve the landing and product pages. Please share!
Block captains — did you miss Saturday’s email? I sent a note Saturday morning to everyone who volunteered to be a block captain. If you want to join up, thought you had but didn't hear for me, or are just now deciding you're in -- we'd love to have you. Request to join our Google Group at itty-bitty-mosquito-block-captains or email ittybittymosquitocommittee@gmail.com.
